Up at 8.15 breakfast went to / High Mass at Church / Bernardynow. After Mass / saw King Karol + Son / na Krakowskim Przed- / miecie. F.S. went to / work. Mrs. Janusz and myself / went for a walk, then for / dinner. rested after dinner / then again Mrs + Myself went / for a walk na Wole / na Cmentarz do Kosciola / tam gdziel Jozef Sowinski / bronie Warszawe / Kocsciol jest caly kulanie / przebity a Slowinki / czesc pomnik wystanony / Slownski byl nirwalida / At 8.45 F. Szerejko came home / from work / we all had / Supper and talked of / old times about Adolf until 12.15 P.M then / went to bed.

Szerejko came home / from work / we all had / Supper and talked of / old times about Adolf until 12.15 P.M then / went to bed.

(Postcard in the Collection of Cynthia Shenette; Text Copyright (c) 2017 Cynthia Shenette)  I have to admit, I struggled with the translation of this entry.  Between the handwriting, my aunt going back and forth between Polish and English and possible misspellings in Polish this entry presents a challenge.  Bottom line though is my Aunt Helen visited someplace in Wola that was a monument to Jozef Sowinski.  I did check, and there is a monument to Sowinski in Warsaw, but it wasn't completed until November of 1937. Slowinski was a Polish artillery general who died by bayonet wounds during the November 1830 Uprising.  If you can shed some light on the translation or can help me out I would appreciate it.
