These photos were sent from my grandfather Adolf Szerejko to his then girlfriend, my grandmother Antonina (Bulak) Szerejko. My grandfather served in France during World War I.

Four Irish, one French and the last man I don't know his nationality Adolf" The spelling may be off as the handwriting is very difficult to read.

What great photos, I have one photo of my grandfather in uniform, and it is in horrible condition. Nice post!

Carol and Greta - Thank you for your nice comments. I do feel lucky to have these photos. Interestingly the photos are rather small and nondescript. I didn't really notice all the details and the much of the handwriting until I started looking at them for this post.
