Flora in Florida - Wordless Wednesday

(Original Image and Text, Copyright (c) 2012 Cynthia Shenette) If you ever tire of being a POD (Prisoner Of Disney) when visiting Orlando, FL, I highly suggest you visit the Harry P. Leu Gardens which is also in Orlando.  It's a lovely respite after a steady diet of theme parks.  If your kid (or grand kid) gives you grief about going (e.g. "Do we have to go to the gardens?"), use my tactic. Say, "Just do this one thing, and make Mommy happy, okay." Works every time...

Thank you all for your comments!

Carol - It works every time... ;)

Michelle - Do check it out. It is truly wonderful. Flora and fauna. A couple of times we've even seen an alligator sunning itself near a water overlook!

Jasia - My favorite part of going to Florida in the winter is seeing green trees, green grass, and flowers. Spring color is a feast for the eyes after a long winter!
